The course focuses on planning and deploying sites and clients, configuring software distribution, deploying operating systems, and managing software updates. It also focuses on remote tools and managing mobile devices.

50067A: Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP)

The goal of this 1-day, instructor-led MDOP class is to enable information technology workers to understand the technical aspects of MDOP to improve the desktop computing environment. On completion of the course, the student will have an understanding of all of the components of MDOP with the exception of Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization and will have hands-on experience using the different components of MDOP. The main focus of the course is on the concepts and usage of Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset, Advanced Group Policy Management, System Center Desktop Error Monitoring, and Microsoft Asset Inventory Service.
