Existing SharePoint experience is not a mandatory requirement, but as a minimum you should have strong grounding in the relevant enabling technologies including Windows Server, SQL Server and IIS. Candidates will have a minimum of three years hands-on work experience with Microsoft Windows based networks and server applications in business environments. Softlanding requires a .NET developer with strong business analysis skills for assisting clients with defining, configuring and developing custom business solutions primarily built on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform. Existing SharePoint 2007 experience is an asset, but not an absolute requirement. This is an ideal position for individuals with a strong .NET development background who are looking to broaden their role to include matching client business requirements to SharePoint based solutions through a combination of out-of-the-box solution design, platform configuration and custom development. Ideal candidates would enjoy a team environment, client interaction, solution design and custom development in equal measures.
